ACT UPON THE WORD
In John 6:1-13, we find a hungry multitude and a meager food supply of five loaves of bread and two fish. Let these loaves and fish represent your own limited financial resources. You may look at your finances, and think how insufficient they are to meet the needs you face right now. You may look at your limited income and your small offerings for the work of God, and wonder, “What can my small gift do to meet such a great need as evangelizing the world?”
But the little boy with the bread and fish gave his limited resources to Jesus. The Lord took them, praised God for His supernatural provision, and multiplied the food until there was an abundance. Not only was there enough for more than five thousand people to eat and be satisfied, there were twelve baskets of food left! How would you like God to multiply what you give until all your needs are supplied with twelve baskets left over?
Paul declared:
… Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)
When you give from your limited resources, believing God for His supernatural provision in your life, He will multiply back into your life His abundance.
God wants to you to bring your five loaves and two small fish — your limited finances — to Him. As you give what you have, He will multiply it and you will literally be catapulted into the divine Cycle of God’s Supernatural Provision.
The Church has sat back passively for too long. We have let Satan run roughshod over us. We need to learn to say what we want from God, and then we need to manifest it. No longer can we hide. It is time to come out from the closet and let the world know who we are — the children of the living God!
God hath not given to us the spirit of fear. We are not afraid of what the devil can do, or what he can say, or how he can act. The God you and I serve has given us His power!
Fear is a demon spirit that controls, dominates, possesses, oppresses, vexes, and torments eight out of ten people in the world today — including born-again Christians! Fear binds you. Nothing I know of in this world can bind us any more than fear. Fear keeps us from walking out and taking that step of faith and act upon the Word. Fear short-circuits the Word of God. If you are to claim the promises of God then, like the little lad with his loaves and fishes, you must step out in faith.
You must get your eyes off your circumstances — off of the bigness of your debt and onto the supernatural provision of Almighty God! The time for you to act upon the Word of God is now!
Make this declaration:
I am taking my eyes off my financial circumstances and focusing them on the supernatural provision of Almighty God.
