Tough times are not meant to destroy you, they are meant to reveal you. Like they say, *_”tough times don’t last, tough people do.”_* Leaders thrive in tough times. TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 14
” _When thou *passest through* the waters, I will be with thee; and *through* the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou *walkest through* the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”_ Isaiah 43:2 TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 14
You are not wood, you are gold. Gold is purified and beautified in the fire. You are coming out of this better than the way you entered!
Don’t stay in the fire, *walk through!*
Never cower! _” *God’s Spirit doesn’t make cowards out of us…”*_ (2 Timothy 1:7, CEV).
Your last attempt at success may have not worked. Your teammates may be giving you issues. They may not believe in your leadership. Make them believe in you. Find a way to make things work. *_Giving up is not an option._* TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 14
Swim against the current of failure. Don’t be overwhelmed by the waters of unbelief. Only dead fish swim with the current, it has no choice, but you have a choice to get up and make a difference! TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 14
*_”Whatever will be will be”_* is a motto for failures, and you are not a failure! *_”If it will be, it is up to me”_* that’s your motto. Don’t wait for things to change in your ministry, change them!
Use the invisible to shape the visible. Don’t go with the flow, go with the vision.
*_Walk by vision and not by sight!_*
Work against the tides if you have to. Stand for what you believe in irrespective of the opposition, and your people will follow you.
You must first believe in yourself and in your vision before you can expect others to believe in you and in your vision. TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 14
Only a convinced person can convince others.
It seems impossible until it’s done. But all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23).
If it dreamable it is doable. You are well able!
The Bible says that your ability to lead your team to success is of God, _*”There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God.”*_ (2 Corinthians 3:5, GNT). It also says that you can make champions out of the people you are leading through Christ which strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13).

_To make a difference, you must be different. You’ve got to stand out. You’ve got to be different in your attitude, and way of doing things. You can’t be like everyone else and lead._
