True Prosperity
When you seek first God’s Kingdom, you will become a candidate for the last great wealth transfer!
- When you can’t see light at the end of your financial tunnel, seek first the Kingdom of God!
- When you can’t give to God the way you desire, seek first His Kingdom!
- When King Solomon asked for wisdom instead of riches, he received what he asked for, but God had even greater things in mind for him:
And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies. . .I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. (1 Kings 3:10-13)
God was so pleased that Solomon put the kingdom before any personal desires that He gave him all the things that most men would have asked for instead of wisdom. In fact, God gave Solomon so much wealth that no king before or since has ever been able to match the splendor of his kingdom.
How would you like to receive a blessing from God, unlike any blessing you have ever received? You would not struggle to get it. God will command the blessing. It will literally overtake you supernaturally.
God told me in prophecy that His blessings are going to literally come upon His people, run after them, and overtake them. They are not going to have to struggle to reach up and get anything that God has promised because it will run after them!
Yet promises are always dependant upon obedience. God is looking for people who will be obedient to Him, walk-in covenant relationship, and put His program and His kingdom ahead of their own selfish desires.
Prosperity is not the accumulation of wealth or material things of this world, such as expensive cars, luxury homes, jewels, and designer clothes. That is the world’s concept of prosperity. True prosperity is the abundance of God’s blessing, both spiritual and temporal. It is the total provision, continual supply, and you can only enter in to receive it as you walk in a covenant relationship with God.
Make this declaration:
I reject the worldly view of what they call true prosperity. I receive true prosperity from God — His blessing upon my life in both spiritual and temporal areas.
