Your Confidence Is Rising
Beloved, today…
…If you need salvation, stand upon the Word of God which says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
…If you feel rejected, stand upon the Word of God which says, “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37) and “But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God” (John 1:12).
…If you need forgiveness, stand upon God’s Word which says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
…If you are discouraged and feel that God has forsaken you, stand upon His Word that declares, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5) and “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).
…If you are sick and need to be healed, stand upon God’s Word. “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26) and the God “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases” (Psalm 103:3)”…and “with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Right now take this third step to victory for your need: Stand upon God’s Word! I know that there is coming over you the sense of God’s presence — but more than that, something is beginning to happen in your spirit. A confidence is rising and an assurance is surfacing.
You have not even told God what your need is yet! But this is true prayer, communicating in the Spirit, your spirit with God’s Spirit in communion. You are not so enraptured with your need that you have the spiritual “gimmies” — ”Lord, gimme this, Lord, I need that. Oh God, don’t you see the trouble, the heartache, the pain I am having?” Instead, you are entering into His courts with praise and thanksgiving already in your heart and upon your lips.
Simply recognize that you are calling upon God Almighty; acknowledge that in His hand there is power and might and nothing or no one is able to withstand Him; and stand firm in the absolute authority of His promises!
Can’t you feel it? Your confidence is rising! Your fear is dissipating! You are ready to take the next step to personal victory.
Make this declaration:
My confidence is rising. My fear is dissipating. I am ready to take the next step to victory.
